By far the best restaurant I’ve visited in SF. Where do I even begin? This restaurant takes home made food and elevates it to taste high end. I am always worried about visiting a restaurant where the spices overpower the food, or the food is too oily, and you can’t actually enjoy the meat, but this place has PERFECTED food flavor balance and unbelievable flavor depth. The food we ordered was the Lamb Shank, with Biryani Rice as a side, and the Haleem. Easily the best Biryani I have had in my life (don’t tell my mom I said that) and better than what I can make at home. The lamb shank was perfectly tender and flavoured just right. The Haleem was amazing. I would recommend and re-order both. Beyond food, the owners and staff are the kindest most welcoming people I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting at a restaurant. Usually you go to a restaurant just to eat - but here, you make unexpected friends. It really and truly does feel like someone is hosting you for a meal in their home. If I try to think of something they can improve or do better, I truly can’t think of anything. Really a 100/100 experience coming here.

Discovered this place through an SF Chronicle article and it’s truly a hidden gem. The owner makes all the spices in house, and it shows. The lamb curry was the best I’ve had. Perfectly balanced, full of flavor, and not overly spicy. The lamb biryani was equally excellent with fragrant rice and very tender meat. Warm and welcoming service. Will definitely be coming back.

A true gem of a Pakistani family restaurant! Plenty of seating for groups and very welcoming & fast service. The food was just like moms cooking at home. The hand made parathas were delicious, chicken biryani and halwai puri were great as well. But the star of the show was the lamb shank and the beef haleem - really cooked to perfection!

Dropped by around 5:45pm on a Saturday, no problems with seating, the place was very warm. Food was very lovely, i had a lamb korma, chicken tikka masala, 2 orders of rice and 2 orders of garlic naan. Service was great, the owners were very friendly and pleasant and were very enthusiastic Atmosphere was nice, no loud music and very clean. The place is great for groups of 2-5 people to have good conversations at.

Their chicken leg roast and lamb shank are exceptional! The owners & staff made the environment very homely. The curry can be on the salty side.

This restaurant is truly a gem. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with such warm and genuine hospitality that it instantly makes you feel at home. The staff is incredibly kind, attentive, and passionate about what they do, which really shows in the overall experience. The food is absolutely amazing—every dish is full of flavor, beautifully prepared, and clearly made with care and high-quality ingredients. You can tell a lot of love goes into each plate, and it makes every bite memorable. What makes this place even more special is the story behind the restaurant. Knowing the heart, dedication, and meaning that went into creating it adds so much depth to the experience. It’s not just a place to eat, but a place with soul and purpose. Overall, this restaurant exceeds expectations in every way. Great service, wonderful people, delicious food, and a meaningful story all come together to create an unforgettable experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place that truly stands out.
